Why won’t cricut connect?


Make sure Bluetooth is turned on or connect the USB cable. Make sure that your cricut machine is turned on and is not more than 3-4 meters away from your PC. Select Bluetooth and wait for your PC to recognize the Cricut machine. Make sure the USB cable is properly connected to both your computer and your Cricut Explore.

Disconnect the Explore machine from the computer and turn it off. After the restart is finished, turn on the Explore machine and reconnect it to the computer, then try cutting again. The first thing to check when Cricut doesn’t connect to Design Space is Internet speed. To use Cricut with Design Space, the Internet download speed must be at least 2 Mbps and the minimum upload speed is 1-2 Mbps.

Did you solve this? If you use the USB, you must turn off Bluetooth and make sure that your cricut is not paired with a different device. If you are trying to use Bluetooth, disconnect the USB port. That little place where my cartridge is plugged in allows me to load the cartridge into the new Cricut Design Space ONLINE software. We cannot guarantee that all dongles will pair with Cricut machines, but those that support audio devices can often pair correctly.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if it only came with bad parts (proud owner of broken Cricut 2,5 machines. If you have a Cricut Explore or Cricut Explore One, make sure your wireless Bluetooth adapter is inserted. If you have multiple Cricut machines, you can identify the one you want to pair by using your device code.
